Cameos have existed over the long history as jewelry that carves portraits and myths of people and reflects individual identities.
However, today, its role has faded as times change, and has become one of the mass-produced ornaments.
Meanwhile, tattoos are now part of fashion as a way to express an individual's identity.
Tattoos create individuality by putting meaning into the image, allowing you to engrave your own thoughts, souls, and feelings.
Cameos also once reflected the stories of people who wear them in the same way.
Both are more than just decorations, expressing one's own story and identity.
This work reinterprets such cameos with modern sensibilities and proposes them as new jewelry.

HIYU HAMASAKI

After completing Hiko Mizuno's special student at Jewelry College, he participated in the International Graduation Exhibition held at the Contemporary Jewelry Gallery Masee in the Netherlands, and presented his works in countries such as Europe and China.
He continues to produce after teaching at the school.
He is active in a variety of fields, including jewelry, objects, installations, instructors, and curation.
